Who Is This For

Homeowners applying for a mortgage, refinancing an existing loan, or working with a lender who requires an independent property valuation before approving financing. The appraisal is typically ordered through the lender rather than directly by the homeowner.

What a Lending Appraisal Is

A lending appraisal is ordered by a bank or mortgage lender as part of the home loan or refinancing process. The lender needs an independent, certified assessment of the property's value to confirm the loan amount is appropriate relative to what the property is worth.

The appraisal is conducted by a state-licensed appraiser, prepared to USPAP standards, and delivered directly to the lender.

Availability

Lending appraisals are available on a case-by-case basis. We prioritize estate, divorce, and non-lending work — if you have a lending assignment and want to discuss timing and availability, call us directly.
